MCG Fitness was formed in 2017 originally as a personal training business by me, John Hamman.   I started off working front desk in a small local gym in Chickasha, OK  with just a basic NCSF CPT cert and  training clients at that gym. During that time I also ran some early morning fitness boot camps as well as an every other weekend faith and fitness workshop at a local church. Since then I have  continued to train in some capacity whether in person or online and have gained other certifications including Precision Nutrition Pn1, ISSA S&C Coach, and ISSA Body Building Specialization.  Now located in Spring Hill, FL,  I am continuing to expand into a new market with fitness supplements. I see so many supplements on the market that either have ineffective ingredients, inadequate dosage or so much of some ingredients that you are essentially just buying yourself some really expensive pee. I wanted to put out a supplement line that has proven effective doses that your body will actually fully use. There is a reason for every ingredient in my supplements. We aren't just throwing in the latest fad ingredients.  Whether in training/coaching or in our products my goal is to give you results based on proven methods and ingredients.

MCG stands for "My Chains are Gone." It was meant as a double meaning. My chains are gone reflects that I am a follower of Christ who has broken my chains of sin and freedom me spiritually. My chains are gone also means my chains that hold me back in my fitness journey. All the things that keep us from reaching our goals are chains to be broken as we push forward.  I wanted to use the business as a ministry and have had several opportunities to do so. There have been times I have been able to teach health classes to homeless and rehab facilities, pray with athletes, or use some extra income from this to help with releif efforts. I thank God for every opportunity to serve. While MCG Fitness is a Christian owned business it is not a Christian only business. Everyone is loved and I pray good things for all of you even if you don't share my faith and beliefs.
